... wow, what a great sound! Outdoors, about 80 deg in the direct sun. I learned how difficult it can be to play with sweaty hands! Next time I'll take a towel :)

Played a bunch of '50's and '60's tunes for Bikers for Christ at a Veteran's appreciation event at the local VA. Great crowd, very tough looking but wonderful folks nonetheless. This is actually my second gig ever, the first was for a pretty easy audience (our own church family!). I'm still feeling the adrenaline a bit.

What fun, just a total blast. Most fun song? In this set... Miserlou. Slapping the bassline for this one just seemed... right! :D

p.s. being at a federal facility we weren't allowed to take pics :(

Sounds like fun, Brandon.

I like outdoor gigs. We used to do a lot of festivals here in the Dallas area, and yeah, a towel is a must.

A borrowed Fender 100W. If it sounded "great" on this, then with a "real" amp its gotta sound incredible! :)
