It's been a while since I last posted but I had to tell someone -
(Pics to follow) I just got a JP7 (regular, not extra BFRied) today. I've got two 6 string BFRs already but there was something missing from my life...
It's a fully loaded Pearl Redburst with a lovely birds eye neck and the DSonic PUP configuration. I've heard a lot about the new PUPs but to be honest, I love the DSonic era guitars' tone and I won't be changing them.
I had an Ib***z 7 string until today. The JP just blows it away in terms of sheer class, playability, build quality and mojo...
Would have liked a BFR JP7 but with the UK economy's downturn and the exchange rate issues, I would have had to sell a kidney to finance it and I've run out of friends in the US who will ship me guitars.
Anyhoo, I got the JP7 for less than I've seen some JP6's currently for sale in a number of UK dealers. Thanks again to Coda Music in Stevenage - they rock!
Plus, I'll be getting JP's signature at the Meet and Greet in Rotterdam with the Progressive Nation tour... icing on the cake
