Saw that my guitar Center had a Pearl Blue/Blk Guard 4HH, weirdly the one
i've been eyeing and the only one in a store for 500 miles.. went in and bought it.
Put some Flatwounds 105-50s and
Took it to band practice that night, I play in a california reggae band
I play through a MarkBass 800T w/ 2x10 + 1x15
Set everything flat on the amp w/ bass up a little.
Turned the Bongo to
75% Volume
Pickup 50//50
Treble a little under flat
High mid/Low mid at flat
Boosted the Bass a little

WOW it sounded SO GOOD. I played a German Warwick Corvette std and
the Bongo just blew it away. I get so much more huge bass sound, playing dub w/
right hand on the neck sounds ridiculously good. I can't stop playing it....

I feel like I'll never need another bass again.. Unless I see a 5H in store somewhere..
then I might have to sell my Les Paul :D
