Well, I purchased a used 20th Silhouette through eBay and got it today. Wow, what a great guitar. Quilt top, tremelo, Piezo, RW, Matching HS. Sounds fantastic. Everything was going well until I tried the tremolo....oops! The pitch would go down as I dived the arm, but the pitch wouldn't come back up when I let go of the arm. Yikes!!!!

I called customer service and it looks like the guitar is headed to CA. Customer service rocks. Dan was very nice and helpful. I'm sad it's leaving already. I guess that's the risk of buying a used guitar without playing it first, but I've been lusting after that exact config (well I really wanted a hardtail with Piezo) and the price was too good to pass up.

The bright side is that she's going back to her original home (SLO) for some TLC and I hope to have her back soon.

The 20th is still my favorite EBMM guitar. Just stellar tones!
And of course...

I sent my 20th back to SLO for some repair work a few months ago. Not really sure what happened before I got it (USED), but the pickups and frets were out of whack. I had it for a year and didn't really play it all that much. However, once I got it back from EB, it literally sounded and played better than ever. I finally found out what all the fuss was about the 20ths!
