and something tells me it's not going to be the last one I buy 
This is also officially the first time I pay more than 1k for a bass, and it was well worth it, it is replacing an ibanez SR705 which was really lacking personality in it's sound
So this is a Bongo 5 HS carbon blue with an abalone pg
The DOB is 12/30/04, and there are really few scratches. I was expecting to get a good tone out of it, but it's really beyond my expectations, a little movement on any knob and there's a new tone I love as much as the previous.
