of course i bought it to play it, but it's not nice to know that your guitar paint might crack whether you treat it well or not.
I know lot's of guitars have this "problem" but this doesn't mean that it wouldn't bother me.
I have a stratocaster from 1982 and the finish has no cracks, and an ibanez from 1992 that also doesn't have cracks.
EBMM are better than ibanez and fender in my opinion so even if it has a stress crack it's still going to sound better than those, but one thing is if I make the damage (obviosly when you gig and play your guitar for a while it's inevitable that something happens), another thing is if it just "damages" its self.
this might sound silly, but I pay extra attention to my guitars, and I already don't like it when it's me that dings them, I would be even more pissed to see it ding its self
