So, my local shop has had a Stingray SLO hanging on the wall for a good long while now.

I had wanted it for a while, but never took the plunge.

So, today I was in the shop helping out and some halfwit came in, snatched it off the wall, headed for the bass room, and proceeded to abuse it for nearly an hour!

ARGH!

It sounded like a slow motion collision!

For a while I was thinking he was going to buy it and then be free to abuse it forever!

Well, he left.............

I went to the back, cleaned it up, put it in it's case, and stuck it in the back with a big note!

"RIK'S SLO - NO TOUCH, NO PLAY, NO SELL!"

Anyway, I guess it's mine now.

Looks like this one! Only it has a rosewood neck....

I just couldn't stand to see it abused.........unless I am the one doing the abusing! :D

Nice, they have that same color in a Classic model at the GC in Brooklyn, I want it so bad but i`m broke, so I just go there a few times a week and make sure it`s on the really high hanger so no one can reach it. I actually took the ladder and put it up there hoping I`ll come up with money before it`s sold or ruined by some &#%$*#% !

I hate that!!! I especially hate the people who trash on the used guitars all the time. I had to save a USA Hamer Special once from a guitar center. Who knows what would have happened to it if i had left it there. At least it was only $500 or so.
