Hey all,

I just joined the countless numbers of people who own a EBMM bass. I did a trade with a member on here for a 2005 Sterling 4 string. It is the all natural wood grain with the Maple fretboard. Here is a picture of the bass. When I get it delivered later on this week or early next week, I will post more pictures. Also, what kind of Ernie Ball strings would you all recommend my putting on this and where can I order different pickguards at?
Thanks,
Jay

Nice bass and welcome! Hybrid Slinky 45 65 85 105 set is nice, but you'll have to try a few different sets to find your favorite. Pickguards can be ordered direct from EB/MM.

Congratulations!

I like that single-ply white pickguard! A white pearloid one would look killer on that bass, though!

Congratulations on that beauty! There are lots of natural/black and natural/torts out there. Reminds me of those very first MusicMan basses...

Congrats and welcome!

I love natural finished Music Mans with maple FB!

That's The Bass! Sterling rules!

PG proposal: black pearloid or white pearloid!

Edit: strings recommendation: EB Coated Slinkies 45/65/80/100

Well, I've decided to go with a tort pick guard. I know that I can order it directly from EBMM but I can't find anywhere on the web site where to order them?

WOOT! My bass just arrived today and it is a beauty! Unfortunately, I have to leave for work soon so I only had a few minutes to play on it but I have this weekend off. I have a stupid question though. This is my first Music Man. I know the first knob controls volume, then the second one I think controls the tone then the other two bass and treble but can someone explain the selector switch to me? I don't really notice to big of a difference in tone or sound in any of the positions.
Thanks,
Jay

P.S. I will post up some pictures of it tomorrow.
