If I may repeat myself, I really like that single-ply white pickguard! I'm not sure that I've ever seen one on an EBMM before.

Thanks all! Yeah, I really like the wood grain look. Nothing fancy, just natural beauty. I do like other finishes too but for my first Ball, I wanted a natural. I just picked up some new Ernie Ball strings for it too and am about to restring it.

Alright everybody, here are some of the pictures of my new baby. The last one is of my beautiful little girl, Haley showing it off.

Jim, thanks! I just restrung it and absolutely love it! I cannot thank you enough for the deal! How do you like the Taylor?

From one of my previous posts, I got the switch figured out. I had to adjust the string height on the bridge as well as the pickup height. I put the new strings on it and a fresh battery and oh my gosh, that made the bass come even more alive than it was before! I am now a Music Man bass player for life! After I purchase my new amp, I'm thinking I might have to try and buy at least 1 a year for the next few years. Eventually, I would like to get a Stingray, Bongo and Big Al to compliment this one.

Stupid question, I know my bass is a Sterling bass but I see others that say Sterling 4HH and so on. Does anyone know exactly what mine is? The serial number is F13935 if that helps at all.

Great bass indeed, but from my point of view this cheap 1-ply after-market PG really don't fit properly on this great lookin' bass!

Take some of factory 3-ply pearloid, black or white as I said before, maybe even vintage white pearloid?!

Keko, I'm going to cal EB tomorrow and see what theirs cost. I really would rather keep everything on this bass from the manufacturer. I thought the one place I was originally looking sold the ones EB makes but I was wrong.

That's a sweet looking natural Sterling with great wood grain! And although I'm known to hate tort pickguards, I think it would suit this bass well. And abalone.

That said, the white is already fine and very unique. I'd keep it...

Thanks Kevins! I am thinking my next one will either be another Sterling or a Sting Ray in the Transparent Gold color. I think that would go along good with this bass. I also would like to eventually get some Bongo's.
