Just on my way to spend the night in North Wales -traveling through some great countryside, have a nice meal and bottle of Merlot before going to see Albert play tonight.
Life is good ;)
I'll post some pics of the gig and his guitar/rig later on this week.

Have fun Spud, i'm jelouse too, sounds like a great, relaxed travel:p

I read on the Hogan's Heroes website that piano player Pete Wingfield left the band and that there's a new piano player in his band. I liked his enthousiasme on stage.

Looking forward to see pics:)

Hi Guys
Well I traveled through some fabulous Welsh countryside, about 140 miles up through the Brecon Beacons and met my ol' mate at his hillside house near Llangollen in a a place called Froncysyllte . Had a walk along the canal,
a fantastic meal worthy of BP's culinary skills and a fine bottle of Red Wine to replace the bottle I dropped on his path when I arrived there.
Here's the tickets

His wife (he got married a week ago and actually went out during the wedding meal to get the tickets) drove us to Oswestry and we arrived at the venue - the Ironworks.
There was the faint sound of a band and we went upstairs and found a 3 piece rehearsing.
My mate let out a yelp and realised that Albert had played the night before, he had totally messed up the dates what with his wedding, funnymoon and flying back to the UK.
So I didn't see King AL!

Never mind he's about in 2 weeks time - If I'm able to go I'll be checking the dates.

You just have to laugh eh !!!

Amazing what a woman can do to a man's mind. Not that most of us have much of a mind to work with in the first place.

Bummer, man. I'd love to see Albert play.
