Just look what Blind Lemon had for a retirement gift

Blind Lemon phoned me this morning - I was out of breath after loading all the gear back up to my Man cave from last nights gig - he must have thought he had mis dialed when he heard all the heavy breathing!!

He had his retirement bash at Strings n Things last week and just look what he had. Ming said that there wasn't a dry eye in the room!!

Pete admits that he is more of an acoustic guy but he said "Spud - I haven't been able to put this down yet - it is sooooo good".

Once again I'm sure we all wish Pete a happy retirement.

I said "Pete - I played a gig with my 2 Als last night and I just don't understand why you don't see more people playing them!"
