Just ordered a new (old) cab!

A mint still in the original box NOS peavey 5150 straight 4 12!!!!!! I always liked the straights more than slanted. I had my choice of the two and i went straight! It has never been played! I cant belive it! My head is in very great shape as well! I want the straight so that if i ever get another they stack like legos, maybe its just me but i love the looks, and i think they are a little boomier? I searched high and low for a mint condition cab, i could have had a bunch of crappy ones, but i waited and got what i really wanted! Its $349, i put down $100, and will every week until its mine, and i will pist pics of my rig!

I had the slanted 4x12 Egnater cab & loved it. It was just too big for my needs. I downsized to the 2x12 and I love it. Slanted or not, sounds like you got a great deal:

From what I understand, the straight 4x12 cabs are supposed to sound better.

I think thas why Ed only makes straight ones now, but i remeber him using a wall of straight peavey ones in 95.
