Grats, I'm looking forward to ordering a '08 silo

and the 08 LE. i'm gonna enjoy that right along side my divorce papers once my wife finds out that I am gonna be getting 2 more guitars.

Actually as long as the bills get paid, she doesn't care. She has actually bought me guitars and amps in the past. (in case she is reading this post)

I can't wait to see this thing...I have a friend who plays left handed, but he learned on a righty guitar turned upside down, so he strings his left handed guitars backwards...It screws me up to watch him play chords!!!!

I don't know how the heck people play like that. I forget the guy's name, but the lead guitar player for Roger Water's band plays that way. Just watch "In the Flesh" and scratch your head a bit.

OT: My daughter is left handed, but had no compulsion at all to playing guitar lefty. I just told her to hold it both ways and say which feels natural. She said holding it lefty felt weird. That was kind of a relief. I don't know if she will stick with it though, she hasn't picked up the acoustic I bought her in quite some time. As long as she at least sticks with piano, I'll be happy.

You are referring to Doyle Bramhall II...he's an amazing player!

Check out his solo on "Dogs" from the In The Flesh DVD....

well he obviously played a righty flipped over, but it was strung properly with the low E on top. He just flipped the nut.

I was looking on the options page, I see that black cherry burst is not available for the silo special. How about Desert gold, that would look great.

Yeah, i ordered the candy red silo with the black perloid pickguard like the photo you posted....it just looked so nice. I'm probably going for the white luke lefty, too but I haven't made up my mind on that...I love white guitars, but if someone is going to buy a LUKE, do you think they would want something a little different?????
