Estimate wait time

Hello,

I would say 4-5 weeks is pretty good. I believe most people have a 6 month wait time, or longer.

The finish on that guitar is absolutely stunning, actually, everything about that guitar is great. The dealer I purchased my Axis from had one and it was just beautiful.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum.
It took me 6 months to get my JP, and backorder now is even longer I think. Who did you order from?
The wait sucks, I won't lie. But this forum is awesome so you should stick around, drool over ernie1966's collection, gawk at any photos Fogman posts, and feel the warm fuzzy feeling of chatting with people who know good guitars. I know that's what I did while waiting.
And when you get your guitar you're going to love it. Tell us more about it (piezo? inlays? Headstock?) and when you get it post pics or no one will believe it exists.
Happy Balling!

Good choice on the MD! I have one and love it. It led me to ordering another JP (white) I loved it so much. As others will tell you, beware of BAS (Ball Acquisition Syndrome)!

And I agree. A month or so wait time is not bad.

I actually ordered it through music123 they were nice enough to give me a pretty good credit line so i went with them. I got mine pretty basic , got the matching headstock of course but not the piezo of the inlay. I live 10 mins from the parker guitar plant so i spent alot of time there playing with the piezo's they sound great but i dont think i will get a ton of use out of it.

Congrats! I'm also waiting for my JP 6 mystic dream to come in. They are great looking and sounding guitars, and the playabilty is unbelievable.

MusicManJP6, when did you order your JP white??

I considered using music123 but they don't offer the piezo option, or at least they didn't at the time, so i went through guitar center. I get the feeling they might have ripped me off though...

I get bad vibes when i go in to the guitar center here in boston anyway. They seem to be more slalespeople than actual musicians

^^ Ya its not really new. I've got my jp6 and i still salivate over people's dargies, people's blue dawns, and that one weird swirly green thing. The pet comes with RPS-10's and theyre awesome. I just broke one yesterday after trying really hard for two months.

Yeah....in the interest in heading off a flame to EB later, be careful with the estimate from Music123. Unless they have special deal with EB or EB builds MD JP's on a different schedule, you're likely looking at a 6 month or more wait. EB is pretty clear and open about this, and if you got a 4-5 week estimate from Music123, then they are likely feeding you bad info.

I wouldn't believe that 4-5 weeks either unless what Music 1-2-3 means is that they ordered a guitar with that exact configuration 5 months ago, and they expect it to arrive in 4-5 weeks. I may believe 4 or 5 months, but not 4-5 weeks.

First off welcome to the forums. And congrats on the JP purchase. You are going to love the color.

Does Music123 have that guitar in stock. Because, if they don't, like Roburado said, your are looking at about a 6 month wait. Not 4-5 weeks. It'll still be worth it, though.:)

I 'm not even worried about how long it takes, i have a few other guitars i can play till it arrives, and i am ok with drooling over everyone elses for a while. Its like the old heinz commercials, some things are worth waiting for

You're not alone. There are a lot of people waiting on EBMM orders here on the forum. It's a good place to drool over other people's guitars and basses while one waits for one's own. I've got a good 5 months until I get my next EBMM.

Welcome to the forum.
