Just placed an order for a Music Man Silhouette Special guitar.

As I wanted a Vintage sunburst with maple neck and pearl plate, HSS with Piezo and single output and fixed bridge I had to order one but got a great deal with www.promenademusic.co.uk

Just shame i'm going to have to wait 14 - 16 weeks whilst its made and shipped :(

Very excited though

Sounds nice. My first EBMM was a vintage burst Silo Special and that makes for a nice vintage-looking guitar. The pearl guard should look killer with the maple board (mine had a rosewood board so I went with the tortoise shell guard).

Nice choice - you'll love it! Vintage Sunburst Silhouette Special was my first Music Man too! Like John C, I have the rosewood/toroise combo, but the maple/Pearloid looks great as well.

From the UK.

Quick question. Im guessing it will come with a standard set of .09 gauge strings. With it being fixed bridge can i put standard .10 gauge on or will it need setting up?

Congrats and welcome

You can switch to 10 but it's a minimum setup I reckon, maybe a bit of truss rod adjustment and a bit of intonation nothing serious :p
