Hi everyone,
I don't post here much but I thought I'd share this...
Today I had the pleasure of playing (for about an hour) the all new JP 16 & although I'm not a huge fan of FR type bridges anymore I have to say WOW!!! This guitar is super solid and super smooth. The roasted neck is beautiful and feels amazingly smooth & fast. As a 2007 JP6 owner the return of the arm scoop felt natural to me but I know some people will be happy it's back. The tremolo is very solid and seems to be very well built. I pretty much abused it and the guitar stayed in tune perfectly. The Ecstasy pickups sounded amazing through the Mesa Mark V I used at the store, but I'm pretty sure any pickup will sound awesome through that beast.
The only aspect I didn't like is the tuning (completely forgot what it was like with a FR), as the guitar was not tuned when I started playing and I quickly ran out of room on the fine tuners I had to unscrew the locking nut and well, you know the drill...
Just my 2 cents
