I get what Eske is saying about the headstock thing, and I totally agree with whoever said that there's only so many ways to arrange the tuners. Even though the control layout of the Marco Sig. is basically the same as the JP layout, there are other companies that have that same layout as well (eg. Schecter's Syn Sig. Model, Ibanez US RG's). Speaking of which, the Ibanez US RG's had that same control layout and it was what JP based his control layout off of. Regarding the headstock thing, I understand Beth defending the trademark thing, but at the same time I don't think that Marco or Rash really meant it as a slap, I think that Marco probably just wanted a custom guitar that had the same sort of cool features as the JP, but didn't want to be seen as being a "JP wannabe" or something. Thats just my take on it though.
