I am selling because I am out of work, need to pay bills, and to get a debt with a fellow board member right as well. This is the only thing that I have of high dollar value that will either not put me on the street (not selling my house), or impede my ability to play music (can't sell the amp, etc.)

Well, she's officially no longer mine; that the bad news. The good news is that she sold for $1825. (Not bad, considering when I bought her, I paid $1500. Nice time to make a profit, I guess!) Once I get back on my feet and things are happier near the end of the year, I'm gonna be in the market for a yellow or blue. Kind of like my reward for sackin' up and doing this now. That also made parting with this one right now a little easier, knowing that this is just a temporary thing.

Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement and best wishes...I really appreciate it. On the job front, I have one lined up...kinda. They're practically ringing my phone off the hook to start last week, this week, etc. -- the only caveat is that in the first 90 days I cannot have any absences. Wouldn't be an issue if I didn't need 4 days off in August for VH in Phoenix and the following 3 for Las Vegas. To take this job now would mean that I would have to give up $900 in tickets and room reservations in Vegas alone. For a $10/hr job, and a deep pay cut, at that (I know, I know, better than what you have now. You know what I'm getting at though...)

I do plan to talk with 'em and not burn any bridges, and unless something comes though between now and then, take 'em up on it after vacation, when I have no issues at hand, and my life is essentially theirs. But not about to sacrifice $900 of money already spent, let alone the friggin' mighty VH!

Anyways, I'm on a roll here, so I'll stop. Thanks again for the kindness, folks. You're good people, and I'm glad to be in the trenches fighting the good fight with ya. I just wanted to let you know the status; I am one EVH short at this point, but now I can make a few things right, and I can eat (although my fat butt could go without a meal every now and then! )

Hey peter, I appreciate the thoughts and the desire to help. I'm a tech support guy, and the market is as dry as the heat out here. I've reverted to customer service, since that is one of my other "specialties". That's what this other gig is, essentially, and would pretty much be a holdover until I can break off something technical, etc.

Peter, if you know some folks in AZ, that would rock. If not, I'll take the thoughts and prayers with appreciation and gratitude.
