Hi guys,
I was playing my bongo last night (Man I love that bass) and my fretless stingray ray and band rehearsal and started thinking during a break
Couple of questions to ponder and hopefully jon can give his input

Will the Bongo ever come with a maple fret board??

If it doesn't would a stingray neck (with maple fretboard) fit on a Bongo body to make a Stingo or bongray etc. (I do have a maple stingray but would never do it - just thinking)

Also one last thing has anyone played a fretless bongo yet and if so how do they sound and compare to a fretless ray.

food for thought

scott

I don't know if there will ever be a maple Bongo. You never know. ....And Jubs....we do not make set neck or neck through instruments. Now go do your homework.

I mentioned to Derek at NAMM that I think an all maple Bongo would be deadly.

If we buy enough of them, they might start doing some nutty stuff like that.

Remember--they weren't going to do fretless necks for a couple of years, either. But, since my new fretless is currently in SetUp, things change. :D
