hi, finally I decided to join the ernie ball musicman forum. 8 years ago I first joined a U.S. bass community as "chuck 3 river" because I live in three river town in the southeast of Germany. maybe some folks here will remember.

I actually own a 1978 ray, a 79 and a 90 mm-20.

sorry for bad english...

Welcome our German friend! (Begrüßen unsere deutschen Freunde)

It would be very nice of You to put some pics of Your Music Man bass! ;)

By the way, I was working in Germany in 1993. (playing in one Discotheque, and some other business).

Hey Chuck,

You have a nice 2-band string mutes collection there! Congratulations! :D
Maybe time to stock up with one of the new Classics? ;)

Nice collection Chuck, and welcome! My wifes family is from Hamburg so we have lots of German spoken around my house. Post often, this is a great place to be, but be careful indeed of the GAS, lol!

Thank you for warm welcome,
Mr. Bovine, Brad and all others...
I've tried lost of basses just to find out that I have the best in the stable for thirty years now.
But my No.1 player is this blonde 79er - I love the (refinished) neck, the feeling, the weight (11 lbs) and of course the sound.
The white EB is a very cool axe, too.
And Brownie - is my friend over decades...

very cool, Brad! and see-through pg...
StingRays are well balanced isntruments and IMHO such a bass is better to handle than an even slightly neck diving one.
