Just wanted to introduce myself...

Hello everyone...

My name is Bryan from Rhode Island, USA. I have been playing for about 25 years or so. That's back in the hair metal days, and that's what I still play today:

Van Halen, George Lynch, Ratt, Motley Crue, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, etc.

I had an Axis several years ago, but it was sold off to finance a P@ul R33d 5mith. $2400. What a mistake. That guitar's neck was too fat, and made my wrist sore after a while. The PR5 was sold, and other guitars were bought and sold along the way. But I always missed "Butterscotch", my amber Axis. I even tried a Pe@vey Wolfg@ng, but the toggle switch is in the wrong spot for me. I hit it by accident when it's up there. Plus I missed the 4-2 tuners on the Axis. Heck, everything about the Axis is better!

Well, I've come full-circle and found my way back to the Axis. I've just purchased a blue quilt Axis from Tommydude, and WOW - I will never play anything but an Axis from now on...and what a beauty this one is, too. Please see my pics...

What I've noticed in the short time I've been on this Forum, is that the people here are so very friendly and helpful. This is now my homepage at home and at work. I am happy to be a part of this family.

Oh, and I'd like to thank Jamie Humphries for turning me back toward the Axis. I watched his Licklibrary DVD, and I was reminded of how much I missed Butterscotch. Thanks Jamie, and you are an amazing teacher. Please make a Ratt DVD next...
