im alrite with fiddles and violins as long as they know how to play, i jsut hate it wen people constantly screw up it hurts my ears
and besides guitar gets more chicks
My cute kid #1 is now 16 and a good drummer --- what could possibly be better.
He did grow up fast though. We've gotten to play together a lot over the years, and he often sits in at whatever gig I'm doing, and I remember the moment when I realized I wasn't worrying at all about where the beat was, because my son the drummer had it nailed. Proud papa!
my 9 year old daughter is taking classical guitar lessons at the mo, and doing very well (chest swells with fatherly pride ). We normally try to get an hour jamming together every Sunday, and she has started gassing for daisyrock guitars already .
I'm sure she'll switch to bass eventually, she has been playing my bongo today and loves the shape.
