Hola,
Just out of curiosity, I weighed my Ash/Maple, 77' Funk-machine. It topped the bathroom scale at...10 1/2 lbs! That bass is the bomb, but I thought it was at least 9.5 lbs. Guess my working out has helped. How's everybody else's Musicman's??

Dont know if its accurate or not, but on my bathroom scale this baby tops out at 11 pounds. Ive got a pinched nerve in my back, and sometimes struggle, but the tone is so worth it. This bass KILLS.:D :D

My 05 SRS weighs 9.5 pounds and amazingly my 30th Ann SR4 is about 8.25 pounds. Killer. My old P bass is around 11.5 pounds. And my car weighs around 4750...

Weighing a bass is like seeing the temp. IMHO. It isn't ever cold until you see the thermometer and it isn't heavy until you weigh it.

My SUB Sterling is a healthy 8lb 10oz

Pretty decent weight, a nice solid feel, but not too heavy that I get knackered wearing it for a while, 15lb sounds scary, and quite likely crippling
