I had that exact same thing happen to me 20 years ago when I was swimming at Bolsa Chica beach. I must have stepped on a stingray, and the bastard stung me. Hurt like a bitch. I still have the scar too. Maybe a pic of my scar should be my avatar.

I've never been stung. In fact, I'm very careful to avoid it. Seen some of the effects.

I just thought the Stingray bass and stingray animal pun was kinda funny.
