Hold out for the stingray, I thought I wanted a sterling too until I tried them side by side.

I did try them out side by side. The stingray was only a single hb though. The neck on the sterling sealed the deal for me. My hands aren't small, but they arent hugh, and the sterling neck just felt better.

You have figured out what you like. That is step one. Step two will never be decided fully if you listen to all of us :D

I dunno, TK... It's tough. Sorta like how today, I wish I could slap a Sterling neck on a Bongo and have a Stongo or a Berling. Tomorrow, it'll change.

Yeah I knows. I love the SR5 neck but the Bongo 5 H is where I am at. I am just saying we all have our opinions. We may talk each other into things. Then one day or rather night( real late and drunk) we sit down and think.

You can feed any desire concerning EBMM here you want to.
Since i am going to see Koogie in person here pretty soon I am going to say it.

Welcome to the addiction. :)

The only way to beat all the monsters found here is to own one of each of everything.
Then they will produce a one off or something you could have but don't have the funds for.

The monsters are a plenty around here is all I am saying.

TK, I hear you buddy. I'm gonna ask BP if I can head up the new "Modular Music Man" division: I could then order a Sterling neck with a Bongo body with the the tone of a Stingray, Bongo, and Sterling at the flick of a switch, and a removable section between the neck and the bridge where you could swap out pickups and switches on the back that could change the electronics. Sort of like what happened when single effect stomp boxes evolved into multi-effect racks. I must be inhaling too much gas at work...
