Ive had this tonezone new in the box since last summer and finally wired it yesterday and, wow! Its ballsy, little bassy but defined and not muddy, very good output, I wanted a more modern sound with more output and harmonics because i was sick of the old vintage gibson alnico 5 neck pickup i was using in the bridge of this guitar( yes i was using a neck pup in the bridge) you gotta try new things some times, it had a very crispy clean punchy but low output paf sound, which was cool, but i wanted this guitar to kick major ass at this time, now its a shred machine, and i will say it is similar to the axis bridge, but not the same, little hotter little fatter. But still wicked pisser.

That's great to hear. What guitar did you install it in? I'm curious to find out because I am installing 2 new pups in my Silo Special. I'm having some confusion due to the silent circuit. I spent some time on the phone with Dimarzio today. I also just obtained a wiring diagram from EBMM ( thanks AJ & Billy). I can't wait to hear how it's gonna sound. I'm glad you like the Tone Zone.

If you need a hand with the silent circuit wiring, feel free to drop me a line ... I've got them in most of my guitars now for coil splits, etc.
