k i sorta need ur help w a guitar stand

this may seem silly but i'm wondering what guitar stand u guys use....here's why, my jp's don't sit right due to the dual 1/4's on mine and it drives me nucking futs that i have to place it sideways lol - can anyone do me a favor and post one of there's so i can pick it up. =D

i thought about that and it's probably what i'll do. Just get afraid when i see it not being held from the bottom lol. Even though most of the ones ive seen from forum guys r headstock only. Guess ill give it a shot

I use On-Stage A-frame stands: http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/regular/9/5/7/483957.jpg after knocking over or almost knocking over the tripod types. This model can also accommodate acoustics. I've even used them as a 1x12 cab stand, to tilt it up. Pretty sturdy things.

I have one of the ones like adwex posted, that holds two guitars. It's great, except people come over and mess with my guitars and when they try to put them back on the stand, they actually sit it up on the part below that braces the guitar. Is it really that complicate???

Anyway, if you are going to have many people around who aren't musicians, make sure you get something very stable, with a design that can't be misinterpreted...

I have always used the A frame type, and the ones I have are ancient but still do the job!

A-frame ones scare me. If I bump into a locking one I think I stand better chance of catching the guitar.

I use cheapo single-guitar stands occasionly, but mostly a Rockcase/Rockstand case-guitar-stand holding up to 7 instruments.
Lately I got my hands on a Hercules stand grabbing the guitar's neck right under the headstock. Best system I've seen and owned by now.
For every stand you consider using/buying: make sure the rubber parts are free of chemical softeners that might damage your guitar's finish !!!
