Pssst, Jack. His profile say "guitar". Not sure what it means but I thought it might help.

My profile should probably be listed as some type of offender, but hey aren't we all family here?

My F@nder P-bass has had a Kahler tremolo on it since the mid 1980's.

Haven't had to replace the nut yet.

Of all the things I've done to basses, and I did some bad things in my day, I never once thought, "Hmm, if only I had a whammy bar."

So you mean that, with age and maturity, there is a chance of recovery?

(Hey, I'm truly a long-time proponent of "whatever floats your boat".)

Jack,

With 'age', there's a greater chance that long-term enjoyment of alcoholic beverages will have killed enough gray matter to.. um, what was the question?

I'm not familiar with that other word that you mentioned. Is it animal, vegetable or mineral?

:D :D :D

Ditto that... Whammy's are for the other guys... ;)

So how come everytime I see Jack's avatar I'm seeing a Flaming Logan Green Bongo with a whammy?

Hey Anthony.. good eye catching that Whammy bar on Jack's Logan Flame! ;)

Seriously, my brother had that Kahler installed on the p-bass in the 80's. I've had the bass for the last 10 years or so, and I've never even put the trem arm in while playing.

Now I'm going to have to compose a short demo tune that utilizes the bass Kahler! Good thing I just bought new Super Slinky strings for that bass! Hmm.. maybe next week, this week is looking rather hectic..
