Keep or return? Majesty Maple Top.

I’ve seen some PRS guitars with tops like that. One section of the piece of wood is a lighter color and they book match it so that lighter area runs down the middle. I think it looks very cool and distinctive.

Yes! I’m glad I made this post, as seeing everybody’s opinion made me realize is not a big deal.

I don’t really notice it anymore, as I just focus on how amazing this guitar (and gift) is.

One of the better Crystal amethyst tops I’ve seen, to be fair. I don’t like the finish, but I can tell you a handful of them looked really washed out and dull. This one isn’t bad at all!
