I remember him playing Silos... I think there was even a video he had it in.

The whole EVH neck thing was odd... but I thought maybe it was an 98 instead of 88.

It looks to be in really nice condition.. but for 5 grand... WOW. lol It is rather historical though.

No way that's an EVH neck, not with 24 frets and a head that says "Silhouette". Granted, his description does say "prototype", but caveat emptor, I say.

Five grand ... sheesh.

The Stones rehearsed just down the street from me for a few tours. Passed them a few times on my way around the hood ... should have driven around with a stack of Silos to get signed and paid off the mortgage.

I wonder if he has ever checked out an Al or Silo Special. He left before either came out. I would think the Al would be right up his alley.

I'm not a Rolling Stones fan by any means, but it's always cool when the memories start talking in threads like this...

Those pictures are too cool. (can you tell my minor is in history? LOL)

Seeing the Stones on the Steel Wheels tour was my first exposure to Music Man guitars. Of course it was at the LA Colleseum, so I could only get a look at the guitar when the video was on him. To be honest, at the time, I still thought it was a Stratocaster with a different headstock. I wish I would have jumped on the MM bandwagon way back then.
