Wow,

I was pretty speechless when I read this article today. He passed away today in his home here is Vegas, he was 52.

Despite the fact that Quiet Riot was not the greatest band, Metal Health was a huge album when I was a kid. I remember listening to that album repeatedly with my friends.

WOW!

They a played a huge role in bringing pop metal to the mainstream in the 80s.
Not to mention I'd like to think bringing us Randy Rhoads.

Thanks for the music Kevin! :(

I was shocked to hear this yesterday. I actually dressed up as the character on the cover of the Metal Health album for Halloween one year.

I dont think that doing enough coke to kill you should really be classed as an accident. I think 'killed himself by abusing cocaine' would really be more fitting.
At 52 he was still living the notorious rock and roll lifestyle...maybe a little too much!
Anyhoo, no doubt he is up there sayin 'well, I had a blast!'
Not the way I'd like to go but it was his life and he no doubt lived it his way. RIP Kevin.

"Accidental overdose?!!?!" what happened he tripped on a chair and fell onto big pile of cocaine and it went up his nose by mistake?

The only accident was doing it to begin with.
but RIP.
