Well, besides guitars, dogs are the other love of my live.

Our 4 1/2 month old dobe went in to get spayed, and she got very sick afterwards. Well, the verdict is kidney failure.

I was supposed to fly out of the country today, but decided to come home instead. We're hoping for the best.

Sorry to hear that bro. I love dogs...I prefer them to people most of the time. ;)
It is cool you stayed home to be with her. Best of luck man and give her a pat on the head for koogs.

Man, that totally sucks. Now that I've had a dog I have a big soft spot for aminals. She's a pretty red dobe, do you bread them?

Our dachshund has to go this friday to get a couple of baby teeth pulled and he's going to be pissed...

I hope yours get's better fast

Also sorry to hear about your dog. Do you think that getting spayed & kidney failure are related ?

Do you think that getting spayed & kidney failure are related ?

According to our vet, there apparently have been a few rare incidents where the pain medication has led to kidney failure.

A lot of variables come in to play, and we still have our hopes up.

I'm sorry to hear this! I love my dogs and would similarly cancel plans to take care of them. You have a very good looking pooch there!

Here are mine a few days ago:

Boris, the smaller one, is a Doberman/Terrier mix and very loyal. Gracie, my big black dog, is a very intelligent and loving Aussie Shepherd/Black Lab mix.

Damn dogs. They get into your heart, don't they?

It's funny, our dog has that same newspaper toy :D

I love dobes too, I want to get one once I'm out of college. Apparently they MAKE you take them for a walk or a run, which would be great for keeping me in shape ;)

Gotta say though, I love our dachshund

I'm sorry to hear about this. :(

My dog is my LIFE, man.. she's been through everything with me.. the bond between a man and his dog is unlike anything else and difficult to understand if someone has never experienced it before!

My prayers go out to you, man.

Sorry to hear about this man, I have a Belgian Shepherd and I would hate it if something happens to her...

Hope everything works out for the best...
