Hey all, With the birth of my son just four weeks away, I am selling one of my EVH's. I will have only one Music Man left after this and I would rather donate my spleen instead of getting rid of it! Please email me at [email protected] if you are serious and I can email you photos. Many know me here and this truly is one of EB's finest! Family priorities come first, but once things settle a bit I will be back in the fold. Thanks again, Jim.

My Shameless grovel

ok... then try this one on:

Dear Sterling,

Please let me first strat by saying that the shaved head is very becoming. I admire your business and your products and the family legacy that has been carried on. I am an exclusive ernie ball user in every way except the coveted and well respected insturment that has my heart... THE ROSEWOOD AXIS. **grabbing Tissue to wipe eyes** I am a 26 year old male who has a longing in his heart for such an instrument, and has found himself in a bet, in which i cannot buy one... yet my heart aches to hold and love such an instrument. Would you find it in your heart to donate/gift such an item to a soul that is breaking everyday...
My other guitars fail in comparison to your superior products... and it would be used exclusively over any and all other inferior guitars. If you feel compelled to make a young man's life i would be willing to be of assistance.

In an attempt to be 1/10,000,000 as cool as Sterling, i beg, I grovel, and hope to hear back soon.

Guys, come on, please.

This is not directed at anyone in particular, but I've seen a several similar comments in various threads.

This is a thread about Jim trying to sell an EVH, not a thread about what the rest of the forum thinks BP needs to do. Sterling is amazingly generous, but it's neither my place nor anyone else's to tell him when or how generous to be. It's almost like people on here have grown to expect (or maybe just want to demand) him to do something nice. Let's leave the big-hearted guy alone and let him run both of his companies and the forum. Sterling is a bigboy and makes his own decisions, we don't need to do that for him.

All that being said,

Jim, sorry you have to sell an EVH. I'm shooting you an email.

BP and Pete,

in the above posts "buttering up" of BP was just for fun... I know that Sterling is an amazingly generous man. I do not expect anything except amazing products to roll out of the EBMM factory. I don't not need a handout of products... it was all in fun and games... now if something were to be handed my way i would be honored. but like i said... it was all fun and games.

BP- thanks for everything you do for the world of music and humanity.
