Great post! Congrats Ritch. Well done Mark. Underneath that rugged bronzed Aussie exterior lives a marshmallow.:D Nicely done.

It always makes me smile when an Australian product makes an impact OS. None as true as the likes of Cap'n Feathersword and a purple dinosaur named Dorothy. There's nothing strange about that!! Just ask my 5 year old niece!!

My almost two-year old daughter is a HUGE Wiggles fan. It's just about the only thing that can hold her attention and keep her sitting relatively still for 20 minutes. She watches the show in the morning while eating breakfast, then we listen to a Wiggles CD in the car on the way to day care. Those songs are insidious -- they stick in your head and you can't get them out with a crowbar. :)

Ritch! That little girl is too cute to be yours!

Thankfully she has her Mom's looks and my taste in instruments (we were in GC and she walked up to a great looking SR5 and, unprompted, said "I like this one, think you need to get it Daddy" - tempting as it was I don't think the wife would have let either of us in the house).

Sadly I have actually been paying attention to the basslines - some of them aren't bad (I think I just threwup in my mouth a little :D)

Lets all just sing along, and don't tell me you don't know the words....

Complicated tri-tone substitution during the 2nd stanza, resolving into a 6.2.4.8.turnaround back to the Coda.....

I love this place! The people here are great. Case in point, a few weeks ago slaine01, aka Mark, posted a picture of himself all "Wiggled" up. I made a passing comment about how my daughter loves them (and she does) and... low and behold, she got a package from Mark filled with cool Wiggle stuff. I can't repay Mark for his kindness or the smile he brought to my daughters face - all I can do is say THANK YOU!!!!

The people here just rock!

I've been meaning to post my own thanks to Mark. I mentioned earlier in this thread that my two year old daughter loves the Wiggles, and he sent me a PM and followed it up with a Wiggles hat and a signed program for her. She loves the hat, and it actually looks pretty good on her, if I do say so myself:

I tried to get the Wiggles logo facing front, but she makes her own fashion choices. As long as she's fully dressed, I stay out of the way. :D

Thanks again Mark!

Ritch and Muggsy - beautiful babies. As a mother of 3 daughters, might I suggest alternatives to the shotgun? My husband is currently investigating a snarling rotweiler and the construction of a moat.......

I, on the other hand want them to develop thier social skills, but only to a point. I've got a friend at the hospital working on devising a modern chastity belt....
I'll let you know how that turns out.:D

Mark - the Wiggles are great stuff, I work in a childrens' hospital - you're a big hit - no question!

Muggs... awesome!

Sharon, I was thinking more along the lines of an updated Invisible Fence, but am very interested in what you come up with regarding the chasity belt.

BP, how about a double neck Bongo... top side a 4 string H, bottom side a Winchester Repeating Shotgun... Think that will go over well with all the dad's (I bet it would sell in green too ;) )

Did I tell you guys I also did gigs for The "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition" for the last 2 years?
Trouble is - I have all this merchandise (only worn once) that I don't know what to do with.
That was the year that Brad Pitt and George Clooney modeled as well but I cant figure out who would want their speedos and tight fitting shirts (unwashed unfortunately) and stuff....................
Oh well off to the local dump I go....

Glad the kids liked the stuff - looks cool in the hat, I woukldn't worry about the logo not being at the front cause "like thats just soooo 2006, Dad...."

(For legal reasons - I dont really have this stuff - or do I? ) :)

Actually, I bet the standard Bongo headstock, shaved down and sharpened up a bit, could make an excellent weapon. I'm sure it could take out the eye of an unwanted suitor. Fortunately, I'm still a few years away from having to worry about that. My daughter is about to get a baby brother, so maybe he'll be able to help too.

Oddjob, you need to get working on that invisible fence. ;)
