Okay, I've only been here for a little while, but when I first got here I was very confused by all of the acronyms the Knuckleheads throw around. It was fortunate that I learned what DD2 stood for so I could get in on the DD2 order window before it closed!

Let's make a list! I'll start it off with what I have learned or seen, but I may be incorrect or clueless so please help out.

FR or Floyd - Floyd Rose equipped guitars.
GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome

LE - Limited Edition (Sometimes things get combined. Example: LEAL - Limited Edition Albert Lee)

Matching or Matching HS - Headstock painted/finished to match body color/finish
NGD - New Guitar Day
Non-matching HS - Headstock with natural finish (does not match the body color/finish)

Pickup Configurations

Just a small change - the 25ht Anniversary is pretty significantly different from the Axis so I don't think you should label it "Special edition Axis". Seems like BP used to get a bit testy when he saw the 25th referred to as an Axis model. Of course, his post about the 25th's new name was pretty cryptic so maybe it's a moot issue.

could be.. I always took that to be a play on year 2000 "Y2K" jargon,
but they changed the K to a D for Morse's 2 decades with Music Man.

Definitely can't forget Guitar Acquisition Syndrome. I think everybody gets it around here. I'm not sure who came up with it but I think BAS is more fitting. Ball Acquisition Syndrome.
