Here's a rare one started by the factory

Purple PUSM = Purple pickups Steve Morse
As they relate to the purple bobbins on the Purple Sunset and DePurple Y2Ds.
I have a T-Shirt to prove it.

Not what girls get after a night of wild sex at kbaim's.:)

Sometimes things get combined, like:

LEAL = Limited Edition Albert Lee

Sometimes, people will mention something like 2006LE or 2008LE.

That's kind of self explanatory if you remember the LE colors from those years.

2004 was Radiance Red (Rad Red) and Envy Green, which I don't see abbreviated very often. Generally, I don't see 2004LE as an abbreviation, come to think of it. That's probably because it was before EBMM started doing that run of annual LE packages. It probably also has something to do with the fact that there were two colors that year.

2005 was Buttercreme. 2006 was the black with gold hardware. 2007 was Blue Dawn. 2008 was Sequoia Gold.

Wow Purple_Pusm didn't make the list.

I just checked and found an example of it still in use on the dealer locater here on this website.

I also found
MPL = Maple
RSWD = Rosewood
STD = Standard (as in a bridge)
PG = Pickguard
