I lost my favorite pick.

It was a rubber one, called a Wedgie. Sounds great on roundwounds, give a nice attack with a softened edge. I love 'em.

Magnus found out and offered to send me a couple. I got a little more than a couple:

You had me at Leggy Swedish Blondes. :p

Ha! I was just curious if there was a reason why you couldn't buy a new one, like if they were discontinued or something.

"Damn, I broke a string! I hope someone from Sweden sends me a replacement."

Actually I'd really like to try a Bongo 5er - do you think someone from Sweden might send me one for a while?

Andrew,

I mentioned to Mangus that I'd lost my favorite pick but couldn't remember the name brand. He knew it right away after I described it to him and offered to send me some cuz he's a sweetie like that.

Wedgie picks are hard to come across in Houston. The guys at Wedgie were cool enough to send me samples of every thickness they had. I love how they give you the attack of a pick, but sound like your playing with your fingers. I like the Grey, thick ones personally, and they are so easy to grip being made of a soft rubber. I've been buying them every since 2004, and tend to lose them more than my Totex yellows that I mainly use.
