Help! Koa JP-7 pickup swap

So I'm feeling a bit adventurous and about to do some mods on the above mentioned guitar. Im wondering if anyone can help with a question i have. Im going to be going with bare knuckle black Dogs. Will covered pickups fit in the guitar? If not does anyone know how much routing is required?

Speaking of which, the new Ball Family Reserve release schedule feels like we are getting access to a very busy custom shop.

The mods I'm doing are pretty basic stuff nothing really special. But I'm more then happy to share what I'm doing.

1. Covered pickup swap.

2. Adding a tremolo-no to do drop tunings

3. Changing out the Schaller locking tuner for low B to the updated one that allows larger gauge strings.
