I just have a few questions regarding the Koa JP's, so anyone that knows about em feel free to chime in.

1. Will the ones with gold hardware definitely be made?
2. Will these be a limited run or an ongoing model like the current BFR JP?
3. When will they be available to order?

Thanks a bunch!

So which one will be first, Phil? The Tobacco Burst BFR or the Koa BFR? :D

Not sure, it'll depend on how kick ass your TB JP looks when you post pics. :p Haha. But I'm thinking the Tobacco Burst might have to take a back seat to a Koa with gold hardware, if they are indeed releasing that combo.

I might be in a minority here, but it's ebony fretboard that does it for me! It's the only thing I'd come close to even maybe thinking about perhaps changing on my JP6. I haven't has this kind of GAS since i got my JP6. Where there's a will............there's your girlfriend to break it!

I had spoken with Pete a week or so ago and I believe he mentioned they could be ordered in the Summer. I may be mistaken so feel free to jump in and correct me.

Wait, girlfriends have that kind of power? I thought that was reserved for wives only?:D

I know nothing about any of this, but I will assume this isn't a big tease and you'll actually be able to order one of them. I can't see Dargin posting pictures and then saying "we'll see" without them being up-and-coming. If they weren't for order, he would have said so right from the start. Am I right?

I'm not that impressed with the KOA JP to be honest... Although I REALLY like the grain showing through on the back of the neck (like on Paul Warren's one-off TB BFR)... I wish that was standard on all BFRs...

I think the finish on the back of the neck is kinda strange looking but looks great with the Koa JP's. I couldn't imagine my Ruby Burst having a burst on the back of the neck however.

i'd like to see it! It would look blood stained i would imagine. Now how 'metal' is that?!!!

Anyway, good luck curing your GAS! I hope mine is cured once the TB BFR comes in (finally)... I don't have anything else to sell if not!

EBMM will do it. If they can do the Koa Axis, a Koa BRF JP is not a problem at all. Since most of the MMs are customed orders, a demand will lead to a supply. Save now.;)

I wouldn't mind ordering one of those myself, but i got to wonder the list price on it...I imagine it will be a little more expensive than the Original BFR JP, but how much more is what i would like to know so i can start setting away some cash...Maybe Dargin can chime in and give us a little hint.

Cost

My guess would be $2999-$3299, but just a wild guess. The KOA Axis SS was $2799 but the standard Axis SS is a few hundred less than the JP6, so the BFR JP6 KOA will probably be a few hundred more than the Axis BFR KOA. KOA always raises the price.

Very good estimation there. I thought like that as well.;)
