I just got a luke 3 with the transition pickups last month. I love it.
Just got an fm3 also gonna have to try your presets on it.

Tnx man i appreciate it. The L3 might just be the most versatile guitar out there. And the neck is to die for. The only mod i did was medium jumbo SS frets from Jescar. IMHO they made huge difference in playability.
Love the Transition pickups too.

I would like to do that to mine also. I love the guitar and the at it plays but I do like bigger frets.

Had one refretted with SS. Med/large frets- like what's on most of the other MMs. The other one came with them- was an artist guitar.

The medium jumbo Jescar SS frets were such a big think for my L3, practically a game changer. They transformed my great guitar into an amazing one. The best decision ever.

I dont know what were the dimensions of the Jescar frets, but i would say one or two measures down from the biggest and tallest ones. Hope that makes sense. It will make a night and day difference in playability and feel, at least it did for me.
