yeah stuff here aint cheap either, but its affordable enough. local guitars are a good buy, if you can find a brand you like, but as usual Gibson/Fender stuff is expensive.

Rob,when I lived in Australia for a year i could believe the astronomical prices of guitars there. apart from your homegrown Maton stuff of course.

I have to tip my hat to my mag of choice: Germany's Gitarre&Bass - they have reviewed just about every MusicMan product there is and give a lot of love to smaller local builders as well. Moreover, you can access every article and review they've done over the past 5 years or so from their web site - it isn't free, but a great service none the less... Oh, I forgot to mention that it's the cheapest guitar mag you can buy in Denmark, whilst still being the most profesional and downright thorough mag I've ever touched. If you can read German, I highly suggest that you check out this publication!
