Jimi you magnificent bastard. (a term of endearment). By my count this ties us up at eight each. Good thing this is just an exhibition and not a competition otherwise there might be wagering involved. Welcome to the dark world of silos. Hopefully you now have new #1 gig and jam axes I still have yet to unveil my two axisessessess axi axiss guitars. I'll try for that this weekend. How about a group shot?

It's funny how they follow you home like that.
It is strange, isn't it? and my wife can be so incredulous when I try to explain it to her... :D

I sat down and intonated and set up the guitar the way I like it yesterday, and I'm having a blast playing it... I really love the contoured bodies on these Silhouettes, and the pickups are sweet, but I still prefer the Axis neck carve (slightly)... As for taking a group shot, I've been thinking of that, but I want to wait until the summer when we actually have some decent natural light again...

Nice!

I've never actually played a Silhouette Special. I should probably avoid doing so, as then I'll have to explain to my wife why I need ANOTHER guitar. :D

Jimi very nice. You like the humbucker instead of the single coil? I was always a Fender Strat man until I put my hands on a Silhouette Special. I was right after they had come out and I thought "Oh man this thing blows a Strat out of the water". But I didn't have the dough at the time and I'm not a very good player, but I try and I guess that's all that counts. Well I then I was surfing Ebay one day at lunch and what should I run across, but the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen!!! I thought I had died and gone to heaven. That instrument was the "A one-of-a-kind Silhouette Special, built for NAMM 2002" in Fuschia Sparkle with maple neck, three single coil pickup configuration, 5-way pickup selector switch, standard "strings-thru-the-body " bridge, white pickguard, volume and tone controls. Comes with SKB hard-shell case." it was and still is my dream guitar. I'll snap a few digital pictures sometime soon. If you want to hear the story of how I landed this baby let me know, you see I lost it in the last 20 seconds!!

My Silouette causes me more problems than I can handle. Not because it has flaws, but because it sits there and begs me to play it. I will be working (I work at home) and it will just sit there taunting me, telling me it knows that I would rather be playing it. Very disruptive.

I hope that you enjoy yours as much I enjoy mine!
