i acquired a Lane Poor MM pickup a while ago. these pickups have gained quite a reputation for being some of the best, and i must say that putting the LP in my flea bass prevented me from selling an otherwise sterile bass. i'm getting tired of the flea bass so i want to sell it, but i don't think i could part with such a rare pickup. how do you think it would sound in my stingray? anyone ever done this before?

Derek - i'm not sure if this is the place to do this, but can you tell when my stingray was made and waht the body wood is? E28715. i'm positive it's relatively new. thanks.
