4 days to go and every hour feels much longer than the next.

This is insane... almost like waiting for your first child to be born, anyone had same feelings waiting for their new bass or guitar to come? HELP! Group hug, herbal teas and incent burning, share your pain with me. I am going nuts (BP would say I was already :D but that's life, ;) )

I booked a weeks summer holliday in january when my stingray turnd up at the door, its a big thing ... planing it... hunting it down.. finding the right one.. getting funds together etc ... wen you get it an eventualy take it out the cardboard box , unwrap it ... youll want to play it an sit there staring at all at the same time :D
yeah call me sad, you wont be the first but who else knows what im on about ?? anybody

Does it help that I was very happy that I didn't have to wait for mine but just walked out of the store with it ;)

(after having several months of denied GAS pains... and watching Ed's videos over and over and over...)

I feel your pain...I have 2 months to go before I get my Bongo. But there is something nice about waiting, rather than instant gratification. Every night before I go to bed, I look at a picture of my Bongo. Pleasant dreams every time.

And when the bass does arrive, I will have paid cash for it. No stupid credit cards. It will be mine to fully enjoy.

So when you get your 25th it will be such a joyous event. Waiting is good!

Mine's all paid for too, in fact I didn't "sign on the dotted line" until Mr. Bank Manager said "yes you can now". However by the time funds were clear, I was too late as this happened a few days after the 25th ordering window was closed.

I count myself lucky that I was able to get one and with that in mind, I embraced the "wait" as the hard bargain side of the deal.

As you've said soon it will be happy days and all the pain would have been worth the cause.
