"Early 90's In like new condition! Hardly played! Minty!"

I guess the licking of Bongos is catching on with the general populace and they are applying it to other Ernie Ball Products. Mmm, "minty" indeed.

Went to the ad this morning...11+ hours left, zero bids, no public reply to my question...hmmm.

I bet it still sells.

I've heard "The educated consumer is the best customer..."

If it sells, it will surely be to the un-educated...

Last complaint: his heading.

"Music Man Musicman Stingray Bass Leo Fender..."

Can anyone pick out the two words that don't belong?

The funny thing would be that (most likely) the new owner would join this forum for educational purposes.

Maybe I should put my hand down through the computer screen and grab the D.H. by the neck

I often used to wish I could do that through the phone!!

Again, just another instance of one of us attempting to prove the close relationship between opinions and anal sphincters.

The auction ended with no bids...suppose that the buying public may have been savvy to his BS.

The fact is that he had an opportunity to present a solid case (if there was one) for his claim of a better quality-made bass of one era, and he dropped the ball (so to speak).

Could be the case that most buyers check in here first!!?? ;)
Judging from his comments to barkatozz, he does too...which makes him a bigger idiot for making his comments about EBMM's current string of 'inferior quality' instruments.

Randy said it best...What a tool!

Dumbass ad copy aside, I don't know much about number crunching ebay. Is an $1100 BIN typically associated with maybe a reserve of 75% of BIN? That's $825, and someone may get it for that price [not a bad deal] and then join this forum. Maybe they've even scanned the net checking SR prices and have already been here before they bid their $827.77 for it.

Yeah, w/o posting current street prices here, let's just say that his BIN (let alone is starting bid) were quite a bit over the mark...

...unless BP autographed the control cavity.

BP...?
