A) the cord I use that goes to the wireless receiver is long enough & could easily & quickly unpluged from the receiver & plugged into my bass if necessary.
B) I'm not that cheap to not change a $2 battery before I play a gig that pays $100 :D :D

I buy my 9V batteries at Sam's Club and replace the one in the wireless and the one in the bass everytime I play on stage. Admittedly that's not that often, but it doesn't cost that much to replace both of them. I save the ones I take out and use them in rehearsal until their dead. (I usually only use the wireless in rehearsal to check it out just before a gig.)

Ummm....that's great for all you cord stompers out there, but getting back to the orignal post, I think the color rules. It needs a white tort guard, but then again, I think everything needs a white tort gaurd. Go you. I would LOVE a Bongo in that finish.

do you find any sound cutting out from that wireless?

like not getting headroom or the great "bass feel"

people have told me the only good wireless for bass is the samson airline pedal. but hey, whats everyones view on this.

I had an Airline that kept cutting out. luckily I sold in on Ebay and only took a $20 loss. I have had absolutely no problems with the Sennheiser thus far & have had it for a little over a year now. It sounds the same using it as if I were corded.

wow. like i said to bovine, i'm sure none of you have ever stepped on a cable while on stage.

oh wait, i forgot, most bands just stand still and dont move at all.

We all have stepped on our cords no doubt. You were the first to think that EB should warranty that kind of damage. Hence you are going to hear this for a long time to come.

to think that because i stepped on a cable would **** up my input jack kind of blew my mind.

considering every other guitar and bass i have ever owned has never had this problem. from 100 dollar guitars, to 3000 bass'. my music man was the one and olny instrument i have had to replace the input jacks at all.

Well now...

The "science" behind output jacks is pretty much the same from brand to brand. I've owned several different MM's, plus several basses that were "other" brands also. I know a lot of the others here can vouch for me when I say this, but there is no specific problem with MM basses over another given brand. But whether it be the output jack on your stereo, your bass or on a freakin' CB radio - constant pulling and bending of anything "wired" will eventually cause a short to occur.

$hit happens. It's no more EB's fault than your next door neighbor. If you stand on the lead singers mic cord for three or four hours every night it will stop working eventually too...

you are right, it is.

Sure nothing could ever be your fault. Your drummer probably kicks his drum but if you jump on it well maybe the drum maker will warranty it. LOL you got a funny way of thinking.

i ask if anyone has this problem. figure at first maybe its not me. then i realize it is me. sorry i had a problem. next time i will just e-mail their service reps.

Well, I for one, didn't mean any offense. If I came across like I was trying to be a dick - I'm sorry, that's not what I meant.

see its like this. if you are going to ball bust me, have it be funny. i am not as experienced as some of the people on this board. that was the main reason why i asked a question here.

now, i can take get my balls busted like the best of them. what i really find funny is, 99% of the people who busted my balls online, wouldnt say a thing to my face.

apology is not nesc. you most likely didnt irritate me like some of these people are.

i think it boils down to jealousy. maybe hatred almost, because my life didnt get wasted by some bad 80's pop synth band that never panned out, so now they play in cover bands to re-live their youth.
