Make no mistake, I think these are beautiful guitars !
I just find gold a little tacky - and the finish doesn't seem to age as well.
Black & Gold is a cliché LE colour scheme since before time began.....
(for guitars, cars, bras, boats, coats, goats, bikes, trikes, ...... yikes, the list goes on, if you get my drift.
A bit too much 'bling' for my liking
(Best now left for the likes of 50 cent & co !

I'd like to see a brushed / satin platinum finish ......

I only like gold hardware on predominently black guitars or guitars with highly figured wood and transparent finishes.
It's only passe' or bling if it's done poorly, IMO.
