Hi,

I'm considering a Sterling 5. The importer has none in stock. How long do I have to wait.

i thought it was 3-4? Sometimes you can be lucky i guess, some people have had them in 3 months, some 6. It's worth the wait though!

i just depends on how much back log there is at the factory.

EBMM only makes instruments after theyre ordered. So the lead time is variable. you're looking at a 3-6 month range. whether you're on the short or long end of that scale depends on the current # of orders.

every once in a while Dargin will give us a lead time estimate. I think last we heard it was around 5 months.

I ordered my Bongo at the beginning of October '07 and got it near the end of March '08.

I ordered a Stingray 5 back in, I believe, July.

Lets see... it's January, and the dealer (my mother's now fiancee) COULD be getting the bass tommorow. Needless to say, I'm elated, excited, about to wet myself, etc.

Unfortunately, I have trouble counting things above 3 (the amount of fingers I learned to use) and I'm even worse with the months, so the math is up to you.

Joking, of course. I can use all ten, and my toes on good days... :)
somewhere around 6 months.

that's just my case though. Could be in your hands in 3 months.
I'll tell you this though: it is most definitely worth every second.

I ordered my Stingray back around August 7th and just got it December 20th-ish. So almost 5 months here... But it was worth every second I had to wait

My experience is 4 to 5 months with the expection of my Dargie Delight. Between the limited nature of that model and an issue with the dealer from whom I ordered the bass mine took about 10 months.
