Koa is a type of wood grown only in Hawaii. Its available on the Ball Family Reserve Petrucci models. They come with a Koa top, Mahogany body and neck, Ebony fretboard, and gold hardware. They're a limited run, so get one while you can!

Welcome to the forums, it is an exciting time for us lefties. I ordered mine the day they were made available and I was told I would have it in late December.
The trem, I am told, is maybe the best in the business. It floats and doesn't need a locking nut. Hey, if it's good enough for Petrucci...
