So, with all the excitement of the new lefty Bongos shipping out, anybody know if they will be available fretless and in what configurations?

One thing established so far, and a crying shame for fretlessness, is that the piezo bridge is a righty-only feature. IMNSHO that means the maximum EB FL bass is not available for lefties.
